GR8 Fusion-Media's Web Design Process

Whilst every client and project is different, most projects follow a similar process - and this is the process that we have used to deliver countless successful website projects.

1. Researching Your Project

The first stage of each project starts with both the vendor and the client brainstorming. To get the most from your project, we need to know what you're expecting from it, who you are wanting to target and the goals for your project. By brainstorming we can determine the key specifications to which the site will be designed and built.

2. Planning Your Project

The second stage of each project is to identify what your key aims are for the new project. We can go about planning your project and providing a schematic of the work to be carried out. It's at this time that we plan the content for your website which will mainly be from yourselves, content in any website is mainly 90% client-side as no one knows your business better than you.

3. Creating the Look

The third stage of each project is to create the look and feel of your new project. We will start from the ground up, identifying a new logo for your project, or re-styling an old. Building web templates to get a feel of how the website will look in terms of colours, layout, fluid design of UI (User Interface). We will create neumerous templates which can then be amalgimated into each other to form the end result.

4.Developing Your Project

The fourth stage of each project is to develop the web pages and all the functionality that comes with it. This will include developing the web pages in a way that is WC3 complient so that your new project will be viewable on every plaform by everyone. The site will be fully accessible, built using todays web standards. A CMS (Content Management System) will be developed along with your project to enable you to edit any part of the website at any time.

Also at this stage we will input all meta content (key words and key phrases) into all areas of the project. SEO (Search Engine Submission) will be a main factor once the project is made 'Live', and will be done for 6 months thereafter free of charge by GR8 Fusion-Media.

5. Uploading and Testing Your Project

The fifth stage of the project will be to upload and test the project. Here we will test its performance on all main browsers to ensure your project will be getting maximum exposure on all platforms. Secure email with virus and spam filters will be set up, along with domain name registration for your new project.

6. Handover

Thefinal stage of the project will be the handover. This will include training of the Content Management System and how to edit and modify the page content within the website. We will also set up your email accounts. Trianing on this is totaly Free, with ongoing support should you ever need it.
